Choose the correct supply format
An insulin syringe, a pen needle and a sharps container serve different parts of an injection routine. Match the consumable to the prescribed device and product instructions. A pen needle is not a stand-alone syringe, and a syringe's volume does not determine whether its scale is correct.
Insulin syringe specifications
The BD MICRO-FINE+ products include 0.5 ml and 1 ml U100 syringe formats, as well as a 0.5 ml U40 format. Compare capacity, graduation and integrated needle dimensions on the exact product. U40 and U100 scales are different and should not be interchanged.
Pen needles and disposal
Use the pen needle collection to compare compatible systems, lengths and gauges. HaseMed sharps containers include 0.5 L and 2.5 L sizes; compare the opening, filling limit and closure instructions, then follow the applicable local disposal route.
For meter strips and related consumables, browse diabetes supplies. Select supplies from the exact specification without converting this category into dosing or injection instructions.
